Daher wei\u00df ich bereits, wie traumhaft Kalifornien ist. Es ist immer eine Reise wert. Diesmal sind 3 Wochen daf\u00fcr eingeplant. Weniger darf es auch nicht sein. Mitreisender Nummer 3<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Und diese 21 Tage sind schon sehr sportlich, denn die Ecke dort bietet so vieles, was man sich anschauen oder auch erleben kann. Aber dazu gleich mehr. Auch diesmal habe ich meine Mitreisenden \u00fcber Facebook gesucht und erneut eine tolle Konstellation erfolgreich zusammengestellt. 2 Frauen und diesmal auch ein weiterer Mann. Gemischtes Doppel sozusagen. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Und da Insa, Kati und Guido gar nicht so weit weg wohnen von D\u00fcsseldorf, lernen wir uns auf dieser Tour bereits vorher gut kennen. Kann nur von Vorteil sein. Vom Gef\u00fchl her, denken wir alle, d\u00fcrfte es perfekt passen. Aber die Wahrheit zeigt uns dann nat\u00fcrlich der Praxistest auf der Tour, wenn man 3 Wochen fast rund um die Uhr zusammen ist. Von dort geht es am n\u00e4chsten Tag dann direkt f\u00fcr 2 Tage nach <strong>San Diego<\/strong>. \u00dcber <strong>Yuma<\/strong> geht es die mexikanische Grenze entlang bis nach <strong>Phoenix.<\/strong> Die l\u00e4ngste Tagesetappe der Tour f\u00fchrt uns dann n\u00f6rdlich bis nach <strong>Page<\/strong> direkt am <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Lake Powell<\/strong><\/span> und dem legend\u00e4ren <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Glen Canyon Staudamm.<\/strong><\/span> Sozusagen \u00fcbernachten wir dort nur einen Sprungweit entfernt vom tief in der Schlucht gelegenen Colorado River. Am n\u00e4chsten Tag geht es dann zum <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Grand Canyon.<\/strong><\/span> F\u00fcr jeden, der dieses Naturwunder zum ersten Mal erblickt, ein Moment, den er niemals mehr vergessen wird. Gottes Sch\u00f6pfung kann unglaublich sein. Nach einer Nacht in <strong>Kingman<\/strong> geht es am n\u00e4chsten Tag geradewegs f\u00fcr 3 N\u00e4chte ins Spielerparadies <strong>Las Vegas.<\/strong> Wir haben keine Kosten und M\u00fchen gescheut, um dort wie es sich geh\u00f6rt, in einem der bekanntesten Hotels, einzuchecken, n\u00e4mlich dem Bellagio. Direkt am Strip ist man somit im Epizentrum des Spa\u00dftempels. 3 Tage dekadent Essen, Feiern und die Seele am Pool baumeln lassen. Ein Traum. Doch darf man auch hier nicht die Highlights der nahegelegenen Natur au\u00dfer Acht lassen. Nur wenige Meilen entfernt au\u00dferhalb von Las Vegas muss man unbedingt den \u201e<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Red Rock Canyon<\/strong><\/span>\u201c und den \u201e<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Valley of Fire State Park<\/strong><\/span>\u201c gesehen haben. Nach Las Vegas geht es durch das Tal des Todes, dem <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Death Valley<\/strong><\/span>, \u00fcber den <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Yosemite National Park<\/strong><\/span> zu meiner Traumstadt schlechthin, nach <strong>San Francisco.<\/strong> Hier werden wir sogar 4 N\u00e4chte bleiben, um so viel zu erleben, wie es nur geht. Da unser Hotel direkt im Financial District liegt, sind viele Sightseeing Hot Spots zu Fu\u00df oder per \u00f6ffentlicher Nahverkehrsmittel einfach zu erreichen. Ein Besuch der legend\u00e4ren Gef\u00e4ngnisinsel <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Alcatraz<\/strong><\/span> geh\u00f6rt ebenfalls dazu. Ein Tagestrip zur <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Golden Gate Bridge<\/strong><\/span> und zum n\u00f6rdlich gelegenen <strong>Point Reyes<\/strong> sind auch absolute Pflichtveranstaltungen. Nicht nur, dass hier die Naturgewalten alles zu bieten haben, sondern wir sind dann auch in sp\u00fcrbarer N\u00e4he zur <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>San-Andreas-Spalte.<\/strong><\/span> In dieser unwirklichen Gegend findet man auch den <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Point Reyes Leuchtturm<\/strong><\/span>, versteckt auf einer Felsklippe und ber\u00fchmt geworden, durch den John Carpenter Horrorhit \u201eThe Fog \u2013 Nebel des Grauens\u201c. Nach 4 Tagen m\u00fcssen wir leider die Stadt verlassen. Nun erwartet uns aber schon das n\u00e4chste Highlight. Zwischen San Francisco und Los Angeles soll sich, nach der Meinung von vielen, die sch\u00f6nste K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfe der Welt befinden. Ich kann dies nur best\u00e4tigen. Wir lassen uns f\u00fcr dieses Schmankerl auch gen\u00fcgend Zeit. Nach einer Nacht in <strong>Monterey<\/strong> geht es dann geradewegs \u00fcber den <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Highway No.1<\/strong><\/span> die K\u00fcste entlang in Richtung Los Angeles, bis nach <strong>Santa Barbara.<\/strong> Dort steigen wir in einer exklusiven und privaten Lodge ab, direkt am Meer, genie\u00dfen die Privatsph\u00e4re dort, bevor wir uns f\u00fcr 3 Tage ins Chaos von <strong>Los Angeles<\/strong> st\u00fcrzen. Ein vollgepacktes, aber realistisches Programm, mit vielen, vielen Erinnerungen f\u00fcr die Ewigkeit. Mit 4 Personen ist so eine Reise von den Kosten \u00fcberschaubar. Nat\u00fcrlich nicht so billig, wie ein Pauschalurlaub auf Malle, aber f\u00fcr das gebotene Programm ein Witz. Fr\u00fch genug sollte man nach Fl\u00fcgen suchen. Fl\u00fcge mit einem Zwischenstopp sind in der Regel etwas g\u00fcnstiger als Direktfl\u00fcge. Man h\u00f6re und staune. Und es funktioniert. Hat auch etwas Abenteuercharakter. Schlie\u00dflich wird nur darin gepennt und geduscht. Aber dieser Faktor spielt bei der Reise einen entscheidenden Kostenfaktor. In den USA zahlt man pro Zimmer und nicht pro Person. Das kommt allen vieren zu gute. Die gesamten N\u00e4chte kosten jeden von uns weniger als 1000 Euro. Und wir steigen nicht in Absteigen ab, sondern in Las Vegas sogar im Bellagio und in San Francisco in einem noblen Hotel in Downtown. Fr\u00fch genug buchen ist das Zauberwort. Ganz besonders dieses Jahr, wo der Dollar gegen\u00fcber dem Euro leider an Wert gewinnt. Aber die Fixkosten sind somit schon safe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Planung ist die halbe Miete.
