On March 20th, 2014, I set foot in the Sunshine State of Florida for the third time in just 12 months.
Why Florida again? Simple. While back home in Germany people were still wrapped in scarves and sipping hot tea, I was chasing summer vibes in 30-degree heat and beyond. And let’s be honest – sun, palm trees and beaches never get old.
But this time, it wasn’t just the weather that called me back. Miami was hosting the legendary Winter Music Conference, the world’s biggest gathering for electronic music lovers – a paradise for beats, bass, and DJs from every corner of the globe. And if that wasn’t enough, Spring Break was in full swing.
To truly catch that wild Florida vibe, I hit the road and cruised all the way north through the state, destination: Panama City Beach. Waiting there was my buddy Patrick, ready to party with me at his club La Vela – one of the biggest beach clubs in the U.S. We had one mission: unforgettable nights and good times that would last a lifetime.
