Sawatdii Krab!*
In November 2021, it was finally time to venture far from home again — for the first time in two years.
Until the end of 2019, I was used to taking two great trips abroad each year. But starting in March 2020, the pandemic first made long-distance travel impossible, and later much more complicated.
So you can probably imagine how incredibly happy I was when I was finally able to fly to Asia for three weeks with my girlfriend.

Thanks to the Thailand Pass and a 24-hour quarantine including a PCR test upon arrival, we were free to explore the country after testing negative. From Bangkok, we headed north to Chiang Mai, followed by Krabi and the stunning Ko Phi Phi islands. And at the end of the trip, we spent a few more action-packed days in buzzing Bangkok.
