Viva Puerto Rico!!
In November 2019, I felt the urge once again—as has become a bit of a tradition for me—to escape to the sun. There’s nothing better than reliving summer when things here turn cold and rainy. After visiting Costa Rica the year before, it was finally time for my first trip to the Caribbean: Puerto Rico.
Here’s the first part of my impressions from this beautiful island. Starting off in the capital, San Juan, the journey took me westward through Arecibo all the way to Rincón, Puerto Rico’s surfing hotspot. Highlights along the way included an excursion into the rainforest combined with a wild ride down a river wave, and the thrill of the second-longest zipline in the world—stretching an incredible 2.5 kilometers.
